Well, first off, i cannot list everything, but:
SHIPS ENGINES - speed by
class, so light fighters go 130, mediums 110, heavy 90, VHF 70, freighters 70
Cruise time for ships by
class, light fighters is 2, medium is 4, heavy is 6, very heavy is 8, frieghters is 8, transports is 10 capships
is 10-15
Power supplies: - ship
classes now define thruster power, most power is for
light fighters - least for VHF. Why? Cause light fighters should be able to
thrust for longer okay!
Also - new thrusters, pirates
are faster, but burn quick, normal are normal, and military thrusters go slower
but last longer
Shield physics have been
tweaked. It still follows the GAME'S ORIGINAL SETTINGS of having some weapon
types more effective than others against certain shields, but i have just made it more pronouced
Mountable equipment -go find it, there is plenty of variation and upgrades for you.
You can carry 100 ammo of
each type, and cruise speed is 450 now.

There is a thriving second
hand market for ships and equipment. They are the cheaper alternatives - but
for a reason. Don't just notice the odd missing lights - so be warned, you
might get a worse deal than you bargined for.
Basically - the cheaper, the
shoddier!!

By the way, i will include a mod for starting the SP campaign in a 2nd
hand wreck if i have time. If you finish in that pile
of junk, then you deserve a medal!!
AI use regens and have regen
shields.
SHIPS HOLDS HAVE CHANGED
SIZE. This is to promote the use of freighters and other transports.
If you shoot some faction
that you are neutral with, then you might find they hate you sooner than you
thought. THis is to prevent shooting anything, and
make piracy more difficult
Of course there are tons of
other things, but those are the ones you should notice immediately
Others include:
New weapons including capship weapons
Changing ship prices on
location
Equipment prices change
depending on location
Ammo availability depends on where you are
New systems
New commodities
New wrecks
New loot
New illegal
trade goods.
New AI ships (they fly some
newer player ships)
New player ships
Same old FL player ships flyable
New roleplay
things - like pilots and stuff. Sell pirates at bounty hunter bases for MAX
profit,
sell others to their own, the law, or the opposition for
money.
Carry passengers or tourists
for good money, or instead, sell them for slavery
Carry pets, or just take them
to the outcasts, who then stuff Fido to smuggle the cardamine.
Find new trade routes,
Find hidden bases
Find your way through the
minefield system without getting blown to pieces, try to locate the hidden
base, get lost through internal jumpholes in the maze
of mines. Alternetively - try to do all that and just
die.
Now you can make a decent
living as a pirate with the pirate freighter - specially designed for hit and
run on transports.
