Seen enough of WordPerfect's splash screen by now? To avoid it, right-click the Windows Start button, select Open, and double-click the Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 icon. In the resulting window, right-click Corel WordPerfect 8 and select Properties from the menu. In the dialogue box, click the Shortcut tab, then click at the end of the text in the Target field. Type a space and a colon, then click OK. Now the program will launch directly into the document window.
