Grab that screen ù again


Just being picky about your terminology! In the Help Screen article Grab that screen (August 98, p130), you say video capture cards take an RF input ù wrong! No capture card I've ever seen takes an RF input. If one did, it would require a tuner to tune in the desired station.

DCCs use a standard composite video (or line) signal such as that provided by the (Video) Line Out on VCRs. Fortunately, most RGB-to-video converters have both composite and RF outputs, so Roy Chambers' idea would still work. Converting the composite signal to an RF signal and then back to composite would just add another level of complication and would degrade the signal unnecessarily.
