Where's that DLL?

I need DLL files. I'm trying to run Instant Artist on Windows 95, which I copied from a PC using Windows 3.1. The trouble is my PC keeps telling me I need Pixtype.dll to run the application. I've copied all the .dll files from the 3.1 application onto a floppy disk and tried to install them in the folder for Instant Artist, but my system doesn't even recognise the files on the disk -- I have to use file search to even find them listed on the disk for a start. On the same subject, Pcfront doesn't seem to load either. Pcfront wasn't even on the files list for Instant Artist, so what is this?
Secondly, but also related to .dll files, I need to find Wep4util.dll and Aboutwep.dll files so that I can run Chess, as well as various card games. I copied these from Windows 3.1, but Windows 95 doesn't seem to recognise these either. Can you help?
I am not on the Net at all, so I would appreciate a disk-related answer. I am prepared to buy the necessary files if you can tell me where I can get them, or at least tell me how I can get the ones I've got to run.

You will often have problems if you just copy program files from one PC to another, since there are usually files in the Windows system directory that the program needs. It is recommended that you use the install disks that come with the original program, so that all files are installed to their appropriate locations under Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. However, give this a try: go back to the original Windows 3.1 machine, and at the command prompt type:

C:\WINDOWS> CD \
C:\> dir pixtype.dll /s/p

If you find the file, copy it to the c:\windows\system directory on your Windows 95 machine and see if that helps.
Your software may be a little on the old side, so an upgrade would be a good idea, particularly now that you have moved to Win95. Instant Artist was formerly owned by Autodesk and became Print Artist for Windows 2.5 by Maxis. Now it has transferred to Sierra Online who are about to ship Print Artist 4. It's available from Playcorp on (03) 9329 2999 for $99.95.
Our sister publication, US PC World, had this to say about Print Artist: "It lets me create documents such as signs, greeting cards, banners and calendars. It also comes with 400 fonts and more than 6,300 graphics -- on two CD-ROMs. The proprietary fonts work only in Print Artist, but the program also recognises your existing fonts."
Pcfront sounds like a program, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Maybe one of our readers can help with this one?
For the DLL files (Wep4util.dll, Aboutwep.dll), which are part of the Windows Entertainment Pack, you will need to reload from the disks, or contact Microsoft if you have lost your disks.
