No proofing in Word Spellchecker
In Word 6.0, Spellcheck gives the message: "The spelling check is complete. Text formatted with [no proofing] was skipped", after it has finished checking my document. Why? This happens when the document has an area in which the text has been formatted as having no proofing instead of the standard language. To do this select the text, then choose Tools--Language. In the Mark selected text as list, select [no proofing]. To ensure the whole document is spellchecked, select the whole document and in the Mark selected text as list select English(AUS), or the language used by the Word dictionary. | Category: Digital Helpline Issue: Sep 1996 Pages: 168 |
