Check notebook power

Do your laptop's batteries give out before you think they should? Or do they falsely alert you with a panic-inducing "Low on power" message? The problem may not be with your batteries or your notebook, but with power-hungry software. Intel's Power Monitor utility puts a small display on your desktop and analyses a program's power needs as that program is being used. You can download the file either from Intel at www.intel.com/ial/ipm, or from this monthÆs CD.
