AdpatecÆs flagship CD burning software is still encountering bugs related to 98, NT4 and Windows 2000. While most of these problems can be fixed with patches, trying to find the right one can be confusing. The latest release is 4.02d and can only be applied to 4.02. It will fix a host of bugs that cause Blue Screens of Death, other system hangs and issues relating to speed of writing ISO images and erasing RW discs. The 4.02 to 4.2d patch is available on the CD or you can use the update feature available in the deluxe version. Owners of the standard edition will have to work their way through the confusing Adaptec site www.adaptec.com
