Microsoft has announced the release of SR1 for Office 2000. At the moment, this is only available as an active download from their site. First download a small file (130KB), which will check your system and then -- depending on your requirements -- download the remaining files, which range in size from 25-46MB. The initial release of SR1 has already caused headaches for users who upgraded NT4 to Windows 2000, so wait for the update to fix these issues. Office 2000 SR-1 will appear on the PC World cover CD when Microsoft permits its distribution.
