Be careful with that AC adapter. If your Kodak DC25, DC40, DC50, or DC120 digital camera came with one of four Elpac AC adapters, you need to contact Kodak about obtaining a replacement. If not fully plugged into the digital camera, the faulty power supplies can make the camera's batteries overheat, leak acid and even explode. A Web page maintained by Kodak (www.kodak.com/US/en/digital/accessories/ac) points out that such leakages or explosions can cause lacerations or thermal and chemical burns. If you own one of the recalled adapter models ù 2534, 2457, MI2008, or M42008 ù you can continue to use it with your digital camera. Just be sure to remove the camera's batteries first. Or better still, register at the same Kodak Web site for a free replacement adapter.
