Use fractional font sizes

Few people know that Windows word processors can use fractional font sizes. For example, if 10-point type is a bit too large and 9-point type is just too small, use 9.5-point type. This is especially useful if you're trying to squeeze or expand a block of text to fit a specific space, such as a table cell. Simply select the text you want to resize, click in the font size area of your program's toolbar, and type the fractional font size. Note: Word will only accept half-point sizes, while WordPerfect can handle tenths of point sizes.
