When you attempt to use the restore feature in Me, you may find yourself presented with "System Restore cannot run until you restart the computer. Please restart the computer, and then run System Restore again". Doing so causes the same error to appear (itÆs amazing that these frustrating error loops still exist). According to Microsoft, the problem lies with a Wininit.ini file left on your system û most likely from an upgrade to Me from an earlier version. To solve the problem, search for Wininit.ini and rename it wininit.xxx. This should fix the problem.
