Quick pasting in Word

By default, Word in all versions from 6 through 2000 uses the <Insert> key to switch from the default insert mode to overtype mode. Since most of us rarely use overtype mode but often paste material into our documents, why not assign the paste command to the <Insert> key? Here's how to set it up: Select Tools-Options, then click the Edit tab in the Options dialogue box. Select Use the INS key for paste option to mark it, and click OK. Word will insert the contents of the clipboard when you press <Insert>.
