Get help with dialogue boxes
Dialogue boxes in today's word processors tend to be loaded with options, many of which you may not understand. Fortunately, there's an easy way to get help.

In Word 95 and 97, and in WordPerfect 7 and 8, click the question mark button at the top of the dialogue box; then click the option you don't understand. A box will pop up with a description of that item's function. In Word 95, you can also right-click any feature for an explanation. In Word 97, right-click the feature and then click What's This? û George Campbell | Category:word processing Issue: June 1998 |
