Easy margin changes in WordPerfect 8
Wouldn't you like to change the margins for a paragraph or two on the fly, without having to click through menus and open and close dialogue boxes? Here's a trick that lets you skip all that rigmarole.
Start by selecting all the text that has margins you want to change. Then move the mouse pointer slowly over the dotted margin line next to the selected text. When the mouse pointer changes to a bar with a double arrow, click and drag the margin to a new location. Repeat on the other side if you want to change both margins. Click anywhere outside the selected area to continue normal editing. û George Campbell | Category:word processing Issue: August 1998 |
