Technical Description of Halls

(state as of 1. 5. 1998)

The National Technical Museum has at disposal three halls for organizing temporary exhibitions. One of them is situated on the ground floor of the main building, two halls are on second floor.

The floor plans of halls can be sent by mail.

The hall on ground floor:
Rectangular floor plan, 10x20 m, area 200 m2, height 4.25 m. Sliding illumination on battens, filament lamps + ceiling fluorescent-lamp illumination 200-250 lux.
No direct illumination (i.e. without windows).
Access with service lift of load bearing capacity 750 kg.

The halls on 2nd floor:
The first hall 194 m2, the second 135 m2. Both halls are of rectangular floor plan, height 5,20 m, height up to lintels 4,50 m.
The first hall is directly illuminated from South, the second from West.
Fluorescent lamps of 300 - 350 lux are in both halls.
Access with service lift of load bearing capacity 500 kg.

An electrical installation 380/220 V is in all halls.
