Using the Favorites List
You can use your Favorites list to maintain
a list of frequently used sites, newsgroups, and files.
To add the current page to your
Favorites list
- Click the Favorites menu or toolbar
button, and then click Add To Favorites.
To open an entry in the Favorites list
- Click the Favorites menu or toolbar
button, and then click the Favorite you want to open.
To delete an entry from the Favorites list
- Click the Favorites menu or toolbar
button, and then click Organize Favorites.
- Select the entry you want to delete,
and then click Remove Item.
To edit an entry in the Favorites list
- Click the Favorites menu or toolbar
button, and then click Organize Favorites.
- Select the entry you want to edit, and
then click Edit.
You can change the title or address (URL) of a favorite
item.
To export your Favorites list
- Click the Favorites menu or toolbar
button, and then click Organize Favorites.
- Click Export.
- Type or select a name for the
Favorites file.
- Click OK.
Microsoft Internet Explorer creates an .htm file with
hyperlinks to all of your favorite pages.
