Menu Edit

The Edit menu provides functions that affects the currently loaded image. This menu can be found by Edit out of the main menu.

Clipboard commands

images\ToolCopy.gif Copy

Copies the currently shown image to the clipboard.

images\ToolPaste.gif Paste

Pastes an image from the clipboard into JPegger. This will also clear the file list as the current directory is no longer valid.

Edit command

Calls an external application to be used as image editor. The application to be launched is to be selected in Preferences.

Directory sort commands

Sort by Name, Location, Size, Time

Sorts the current file list accordingly (see also chapter File Order, these functions are also available there).

Random Order

Randomly orders the file list. Each click on this item reorders the list. Useful for a slide show (see below).

Opens the Screen Capture Dialog

Desktop wallpaper commands

Set centered, tiled, stretched

Sets the currently shown image as desktop wallpaper. Display the image either centered, tiled or stretched. Stretched wallpapers require Windows 98/2000 or higher and might not work on Windows 95 based machines.

Clear desktop wallpaper

Removes the current desktop wallpaper and shows the default background.

Slide show commands

images\jpgToolSlideShow.gif Slide show (shortcut <F10>)

Starts and stops the slide show mode. When started all images in the file list are shown sequentially in the current order. When the end of the list has reached the slide show restarts on top of the list automatically. See also chapter Slide show Mode. See Preferences for slide show time interval.
