Navigation Bar

Use the Navigation bar (Figure 3-11) to navigate throughout WorldClientÆs main pages and your personal mail folders. The controls and appearance of the Navigation bars will vary depending on which client Theme you are using. The Navigation bars have a number of major components:

Get Mail

Click Get Mail to check your POP mailbox(es) for new email messages.

Compose

Click Compose to move to the Compose page, which is used for composing email messages.

Compose Fax (optional)

Click Compose Fax to move to the Compose Fax page, which is used for composing Fax messages. Some accounts may not have access to this feature.

Address Book

Click to move to the Address Book edit page. On this page you can add, edit, and delete Address Book entries.

Options

From the Options page (Click )  you can reach several different areas:

Help

Clicking Help on the Navigation bar will open WorldClientÆs User Help in a separate window. User Help contains a Table of Contents and Index for navigating throughout the help system and displaying Help topics in the main frame on the right.

Empty Trash

The Trash folder is used to protect you from accidentally deleting messages. When you Delete a message from the Message Listing, it will be moved to the Trash folder rather than immediately deleted. Clicking Empty Trash on the Navigation bar will permanently delete all messages currently stored in the Trash folder. Depending upon your particular account settings, messages contained in the Trash folder may also be deleted when you log out or a specific limit is reached. Contact your mail administrator to determine what size or number limitations (if any) may be applied to your account.

Sign Out

Click Sign Out to sign out of the WorldClient email system. You should always sign out and close your browser when you are finished working with your mail. This will aid in making sure that your mail is secure at all times.

Folders

All accounts have four folders when they are created, which cannot be renamed or deleted. However, you can create, delete, and rename any number of other folders or subfolders by using the Folders page, which is reached by clicking   Folders or   on the Navigation bar. Clicking a specific folder on the Navigation bar will move you to the Message Listing of that folder. In the Globe Theme, click the arrow beside the Folders entry to expand or collapse the list of folders.

The four initial folders are:

  • Inbox - This is your main mailbox folder. Your incoming mail is stored here unless you are using Filters to store it elsewhere.

  • Drafts - This folder is used for storing messages which you havenÆt yet completed or you wish to send at a later time.  Messages will be moved here when you click Send Later on the Compose or Spell Check page.

  • Sent - When you send an email message, a copy of it will be stored in your Sent folder. This is useful for keeping a record of and/or reviewing all messages that you have sent in the past. Depending upon your account settings, this feature may not be available to you. Check with your mail administrator for information about the availability of this feature.

  • Trash - This folder is used to protect you from accidentally deleting messages. When you Delete a message from the Message Listing, it will be moved to the Trash folder rather than immediately deleted. Depending upon your particular account settings, messages contained in the Trash folder may be deleted when you log out or a specific limit is reached. Contact your mail administrator to determine what size or number limitations (if any) may be applied to your account.
