Mailboxes

WorldClient can be set to collect mail from any number of additional POP mailboxes to which you have access. For example, you may have separate email accounts for home and work but wish to collect mail from one into the other. The Mailboxes area is used for editing and adding those POP mailboxes.

Adding a POP Mailbox

For each mailbox entry, you will specify the following items:

Enabled

Check this box to enable mail collection, you can uncheck it to stop the collection at any time without deleting the mailbox.

Host Name

This is the mail server from which you wish to retrieve your email messages. This will be a domain name or IP address (e.g. mail.company.com, myisp.com, 127.0.0.1, etc.).

User Name

This is your Username/login ID on the POP server from which you will be retrieving your mail.

Password

Type into this box the password of the account on the POP server from which you will be retrieving your mail.

Remove Mail from Server

This drop-down list box is used for controlling when WorldClient will delete the messages from the POP mailbox on the POP server listed above.

Note

Your account may have a size limitation placed on it, which would cause your Trash folder to be automatically emptied when the limit is reached. Your account may also be set to automatically empty the Trash folder when you log out. This setting is located in Personalize.

3. When Retrieved - Choose this option if you want messages to be deleted from the POP server at the time that they are retrieved.

Note

In order to speed up mail collection, WorldClient will leave messages exceeding a certain size limit on the POP server until your read them. These messages will still appear on the Message Listing, but will not be actually retrieved until you attempt to read them. If you have chosen the When Retrieved option above, these messages will not be deleted until you have read them, or deleted them from the Trash folder.
