LOUISIANA DOWNS

Louisiana Downs, home of the $750,000, Grade I, Isle of Capri Casino Super Derby, is a Class I, thoroughbred racetrack located in Bossier City, LA. Our live meet runs from 28 April 1995 - 8 October 1995. In addition, we are open with a full slate of year-round, full-card simulcasting.

Louisiana Downs is one of three tracks which make up the DeBartolo Racing Division of the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation; the other two tracks being Remington Park in Oklahoma City, OK and Thistledown in Cleveland, OH.

This Web site has been developed for horse players and enthusiasts of the Internet community who may be interested in racing at Louisiana Downs. You may access, free of charge, Entries, Charts, Workout Tabs, Press Box Notes, Stakes race information, Statistical Information and Handicapper's Corner, all updated in a timely manner.

Other future plans include general information on Louisiana Downs, more and better images (especially of the athletes, both equine and human), program pages, online handicapping seminars, online contests and links to the two other DeBartolo racetracks - Remington Park and Thistledown.
