Introducing FTP Voyager
----------------------
FTP Voyager is a program that makes using FTP much simpler.  The
explorer-like graphical interface is intuitive to Windows users, and
makes transferring files via FTP a snap.  FTP Voyager runs on Windows 95
and Windows NT 4.X.

License Terms
-------------
FTP Voyager is shareware.  This means that it is OK to download and
evaluate the program for free, but continued use requires a license.
Your registration and payment means we can continue development and
free distribution of the program.

Registration entitles you to e-mail support and upgrades for a year.
Single user copies are $19.

Commercial use of the program (use within a business) absolutely
requires registration.

Program Features
------------
FTP Voyager is modeled after the Windows Explorer graphical interface,
making it easy to learn and easy to use.  The following features are
designed to make everyday use of FTP fast and efficient.

 - Session management makes it easy to connect to the FTP server of your
   choice and to keep a directory of frequented sites.

 - Getting files from, or putting files to a server is as simple as
   selecting a file and dragging it to the desired directory or
   clicking on the command you desire.  There's no need to remember
   the command set of the FTP program.

 - Navigating the remote system is made much simpler with a graphical
   display of the server's file tree.

 - Multiple files may be selected for transfer, including directories.

 - Drag and Drop is in available now!  Drag and Drop allows you to simply
   drag a file or directory to the Windows desktop or to the Windows
   explorer.  Or you can drag from the Windows Explorer and drop on you
   FTP site!
 
 - Remember that registration of the program entitles you to one year
   support and upgrades.

INSTALLATION
------------
Run the self-extracting file FtpVoyager.exe to unzip the files into a
temporary directory.  Change into that directory (\FtpVoyagerSetup) and
run setup.  The installation wizard will guide you through the install
process.  After installation the setup directory may be deleted.

Please check our web site occasionally for updates.  Several enhanced
features are planned for future releases.  

ERRATA
------
 - Using spaces in folder names causes problems.  The folder with a space
   in its name appears correctly, however it is impossible to navigate
   to that folder.  This appears to be a problem in the WININET DLL from
   Microsoft.  The problem is currently being looked into.

 - Drag and Drop into applications does not work.  It eventually times
   out giving an error message.  This may be corrected in a future
   release.

 - Opening or viewing files will leave a copy of the file in the "TEMP"
   directory (usually C:\TEMP or C:\WINDOWS\TEMP).
