Using NECMONTR.INF



    NECMONTR.INF supplies configuration information about NEC monitors to the

    Windows 95 operating system.  The files included with Windows 95 already

    include support for many NEC monitors.  This file includes support for

    additional monitors.



    To use this file, run the Display from the Display control panel.  This can be

    done by choosing the Display icon from the Control Panel folder or by

    right clicking on the Desktop and choosing Properties.



    Select the Settings tab and click the Change Display Type button.  The

    current monitor selection will be shown.  Click the Change button in the

    monitor type section and use the Have Disk option to choose the INF file.

    If the monitor has been automatically detected, its name will be shown on

    the screen.  Otherwise, choose the correct NEC monitor from the list.
