Managing Certificates in the MQIS

If queues in your enterprise require access control, each user must register his or her certificate in the MQIS database so MSMQ can map the SIDs of users who are not logged on to their registered certificates.

These procedures apply to MSMQ dependent clients, independent clients, and servers.

To register a certificate

1. In Control Panel, double-click MS Message Queue.
2. On the Security tab, click Register.
3. Click a certificate, and then click OK.

To view a certificate

1. In Control Panel, double-click MS Message Queue.
2. On the Security tab, click View.
3. Click a certificate, and then click View Certificate.

To remove a certificate

1. In Control Panel, double-click MS Message Queue.
2. On the Security tab, click Remove.
3. Click a certificate, and then click Remove.
