Based on emerging message queuing technology, Microsoft® Message Queue Server (MSMQ) provides an easy way for applications to communicate by sending and receiving messages over the MSMQ enterprise.

Additional MSMQ features include ActiveX support, dynamic routing and configuration, multiple delivery and acknowledgment options, and integration with Microsoft® Windows NT® security facilities--making MSMQ the message queuing product of choice for applications running on Windows 95 and Windows NT. While it is focused on Windows 95 and Windows NT, MSMQ is also interoperable with other important platforms and products via the MSMQ connector.

Microsoft Message Queue Server Administrator's Guide. The Administrator's Guide provides comprehensive information on installing, managing, monitoring, securing, deploying, and troubleshooting your MSMQ enterprise. In addition, the Administrator's Guide provides conceptual information and network scenarios for understanding MSMQ.

Microsoft Message Queue Server Programmer's Reference. The Programmer's Reference includes conceptual information about MSMQ, reference topics for all API functions and ActiveX components, and examples of how API functions and ActiveX components can be used.
