Use the Delivery property sheet to set options that control how messages are delivered. Microsoft SMTP Service may attempt message delivery many times, depending on the volume of message traffic. Also, there may be many domains between the SMTP Service and the destination. You may also want to designate a "smart" host to provide a more direct or less costly route. Message delivery may require the Domain Name System (DNS) to perform a reverse lookup of the domain names associated with destination TCP/IP addresses. Additional security may also be necessary for delivery. Use the Delivery property sheet to set delivery and routing options.
