Changing the Default Startup Setting

You change the default startup setting using the Services application in Control Panel.

1. In Control Panel select Services.
   
2. Under Service, select Microsoft SMTP Service, and then select Startup.
   
3. Under Startup, choose Automatic, Manual, or Disabled.
