Logic Errors

You commonly use the Script Debugger to help you track down logic errors. A logic error occurs when a script executes without syntax or runtime errors, but the results are not what you intended. For example, a script might prompt the user for a password. If the script is supposed to prevent the user from proceeding without a valid password, but it doesnÆt, you have a logic error in the script. In this case, you might use the Script Debugger to debug the document by stepping through each line to see why the script doesnÆt execute the logic the way you intended.
