Uninstalling the Option Pack

If you decide to remove components after doing the initial installation, follow these steps.

To uninstall the Option Pack
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack, and then click Option Pack Setup.
  2. In the Options window, click Add/Remove to remove only some of the components, or Remove All to remove all Option Pack components.
  3. Select check boxes for optional items you want to install, and clear the check boxes for any items you want to uninstall.
  4. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the uninstall process.

The following directories containing user content are left on your system following uninstall:

Microsoft Internet News Server

The following empty directories are left on your system following uninstall:

The following files containing user content are left on your system following uninstall:

Microsoft SMTP Server

The following empty directories are left on your system following uninstall:

Microsoft Transaction Server

Microsoft Data Access Components

The following directories are left on your system after uninstall:

Microsoft Certificate Server

The following files and directories are left on your system after uninstall:
