Starting and Stopping Sites

By default, sites start automatically when your server restarts.

To start, stop, or pause a site

In Internet Service Manager, select the site you want to start, stop, or pause.
Right-click the site and choose Start, Stop, or Pause from the menu. Select Start to restart a paused site.

After selecting the site, click the Start, Stop, or Pause buttons on the toolbar.

Note If a site stops unexpectedly, Internet Service Manger may not correctly indicate the state of the server. Before restarting, click Stop, and then click Start to restart the site.

Caution Use the Cluster Server administrator user interface for starting and stopping clustered sites.
