AutoCAD® Internet Utilities (AIU) 3.0 is Now Available for AutoCAD Release 14 Users!

AutoCAD Internet Utilities 3.0 is a free upgrade to AutoCAD Release 14 that replaces two AutoCAD Runtime Extension (ARX) applications, DWFIU.ARX and DWFOUT.ARX. Together, these two ARX applications allow you to publish DWF files from AutoCAD Release 14, as well as drag and drop drawings from the web into Release 14. With AIU 3.0, you can take advantage of the new, enhanced DWF features found in WHIP! 3.0, such as:

• Paper Space Support—Now your AutoCAD Release 14 DWF drawings can contain paper space geometry! Create DWFs from paper space and attach URLs to paper space entities. Model space viewports and paper space system variables like REGENAUTO and HIDEPLOT are supported.
• Layer Support—With AIU 3.0, your AutoCAD Release 14 layers can be preserved in the DWF files you create, so users of WHIP! 3.0 can view your drawings with only the data they want to see.
• ASCII DWF Files—Now you can create DWF files from AutoCAD Release 14 in the ASCII version of DWF, which is fully compatible with binary DWF but allows you to read and even edit a DWF file using any text editor.

AutoCAD Internet Utilities 3.0 is easy to install. Simply download and run AIU3.EXE (be sure to close all applications, including AutoCAD Release 14) and follow the on-screen instructions. That's it! You're now ready to begin using the new Internet features of AutoCAD Release 14 and AIU 3.0!
