LGet is an http downloader, enter an URL, tap on the "Get it !" button, and LGet will get it !
If it's a palm file (.prc, .pdb) LGet will download and install it in the palm, if not LGet will create a DOC file with the content (i.e. the html source of the web page)
Here are the usual pictures, BTW it seems to works as well with the new Handera330 :-)
Version 1.1 includes a fix for a database format problem (18/01/2002)
What is the zero byte gap checkbox ?
PalmOS documentation explains:
IMPORTANT: There is always a gap between the final record list in the
header and the first block of data in the database, where the first block
might be one of the following: the appInfo block, the sortInfo block, raw
record or resource data, or the end of the file. The gap is traditionally
two bytes long; however, if you write code to parse a database, your code
should be able to handle any size gap, from zero bytes long and up.
So, if the transfert is ok, but the database is not usable, use the checkbox !
Version 1.2 works with the Palm OS 5.0 Simulator (13/02/2002)
Version 1.3 (15/03/2002) can retrieve several databases,
just store the urls in a memo
