Q1016: When LogoManager starts, the compuiter reboots/blue screen appears.

This problem is most commonly found on laptops, but could affect other configurations as well.

On some machines, the serial port drivers behave badly when more than one application or driver attempts to access the port at the same time.  Most software (including LogoManager) allocates the port correctly and signals to Windows that any other attempts to open the port should fail.

However some drivers do not do this, and when LogoManager opens the serial port after another driver has taken it over, that driver can crash if it is not designed correctly.  This causes a blue screen error, or even an instant reboot.

The solution is to make sure that no other drivers are accessing the serial port, including infrared, digital cameras, external modems and other synchronisation software.
