NetGuard is an internet security agent.  It will run on your windows taskbar and monitor
popular trojan ports for connections.  When a connection is attempted their IP address is
optionally traced using TRACERT and WHOIS lookup procedures.  All activity can thereafter
be logged to a file on your hard drive.

NetGuard also has a built in Trojan Scanner, Disk Monitor, System Information, Process List (with
task killing and closing), Chat function, Email client, 6 Custom Ports, Online Help System, Trojan Signature Liveupdater, Registration engine and right click shell interface.

NetGuard is completely user configurable and saves all information for use with future sessions.

Installation ::::::::::

Unzip the file you downloaded into a temporary directory and launch 'nginstall.exe' using Start > Run or double click in explorer.

The DEMO of NetGuard pauses for 30 seconds on startup and has some program limitations.
Registration removes the pause and activates ALL functions.

If this is the DEMO, you may freely distribute it as long as all original files remain in the archive.

Uninstallation ::::::::::

To uninstall NetGuard, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs.  Scroll down to NetGuard 2.0 and click remove.  All of NetGuard will be cleared from your system except the installation files.

Registration ::::::::::

Obtain a serial number from our website (www.emperion-networks.net/register.html)

If you have been emailed the serial code already, click on the 'Enter Registration Code' selection from the NetGuard program group on the start menu or execute 'register.exe' from the installation root directory.
