README FILE for Jot 1.1 Released 23 Oct 1995 Welcome to the release of Jot 1.1. If you're a user of Jot 0.7a, you'll notice a lot of changes and new features, which are documented in the help file. If you're not familiar with Jot, the help file describes the program and its use. Please read the LICENSE and WARRANTY in the help file before you use Jot; using the program is an implicit acceptance of the terms. To distribute Jot, please see the DISTRIBUTION notes in the help file, as there are some restrictions. -------------------- There are two releases of Jot available - For Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups: use JOT110W.ZIP (Win16 version) For Windows/NT 3.5+ and Windows95: use JOT110N.ZIP (Win32 version) Jot works under Windows95, but does not yet take advantage of the new features of Windows95. A future release will provide better support for Win32 features. -------------------- This program is shareware. You may use it for 30 days free of charge, after which you must register the program if you continue to use it. The registration fee is £20 (Pounds sterling). You can register by cheque, MasterCard/Visa, or Compuserve SWREG. See the help file for details.
