Overview
--------
SmartArc is a powerful tool for archiving and cataloging of files. Archives 
will be stored on special initialized disks. All information for 
administration, retrieval and reload of the files are stored in a database.

For each SmartArc-archive
	- a searchable, user defined archive name
	- a text of maximally 64 KByte for explanation of the archive
	- any number of keywords, for retrieval purposes
	- the volume-name of the disk which is used for storing the archive
will be stored

For each file of a SmartArc-archive
	- the DOS-filename
	- the DOS path when archiving takes place
	- the original file-size and size of the comprimized file
	- date and time of archiving and last file modification
	- any comment for file explanation
	- any number of keywords, for retrieval purposes
will be stored

SmartArc supports following functions:
	- Creating archives
	- Adding files to archives
	- Deleting files from archives
	- Deleting archives
	- Reload of archives
	- Reload of files
	- Import of ZIP-files
	- Export of ZIP-files

Search for archives or files can be done
	- by archivename
	- by keyword

SmartArc supports English and German user interface.


System requirements

Windows 3.x, Windows 95, about 5 Mbyte disk space

Installation
------------
Please run:	Install.exe

Warning!
--------
SmartArc uses MS Access 1.1 as database. If you have MS Access you c a n
open the SmartArc database, but do  n o t  change any of the data, the
database could get inconsistent with the program!
If you have MS Access 2.0 do  n o t  convert the database, the 
SmartArc database will get corrupted!
