System Requirements
========================

-Windows 2000/2003/XP or Windows NT 4.0
-TCP/IP network protocol installed and running on your computer.
-Windows SNMP Services for the Omni Net Remote program.

NOTES:
1. Omni Net Monitor is a try before you buy program.
   If you find this program useful, you are required to register it.
   See the ORDER.TXT file for registration and purchasing information.

2. Install both Omni Net Manager and Console.

3. The Omni Net Remote program requires Windows SNMP Services be installed
   and running.

4. The Omni Net Monitor suite of programs were designed as a distributed
   system. In other words, all four programs;(1) Manager, (2) Console,
   (3) Analysis, and (4) Remote, can run on separate computers.
   The programs communicate with each other via the TCP/IP network.
   Although, the programs were designed to run on separate computers,
   all of the programs can run on the same computer.

5. The Omni Net Management Pack requires Microsoft Operations Manager
   (MOM 2005).

6. The Omni Net Management Pack (OmniNetMgmtPack.akm) is installed in the
   setup directory:
   ie. c:\Program Files\JC Software\Omni Net Management Pack\MOM 2005

7. The User's Guide "OmniNet_Guide.pdf" requires Adobe Acrobat Reader V4.0
   or higher.

8. Users may need to update their winsock libraries in order for the
   Omni Net Monitor suite of programs to function properly.

9. Proxy server users - The Omni Net Monitor suite of programs use port 8530.
