Depending on your settings Get latest Versions will scan through all the files in the current project or project group if one is being used. Options for both MS SourceSafe add-ins are controlled in MS SourceSafe Options.

Getting the Latest Versions

Note: Get Latest Versions will only work with files that are part of the corresponding project in Microsoft« Visual SourceSafeÖ. For example, if you are sharing a file across multiple projects that file will not be updated to your local location(s).
