The #develop help is based on the DocBook implementation. Briefly, DocBook is a presentation-neutral SGML/XML-based implementation that allows different document formats (such as HTML and XHTML) to be produced from the one source. The source text is stored as Xml files, and using a set of XslT stylesheets, it can be converted into different document formats.

The images are saved as PNG format images.
