      This driver is for the Lexmark 1000 or 1100 Printer.

     (You may want to minimize this screen so that you can
     refer back to it during the driver installation)

IV. Creating Installation Diskettes
     !!! If you don't want to create installation diskettes, 
	 skip to section VI to install directly on the PC !!!
     1.  You must have 2 Formatted diskettes to create the drivers.
     2.  The Disk Create Program will copy the driver files to Drive A.
     3.  From the download directory, locate the MakeDisk.Bat program
	and execute it to begin the creation of the driver diskettes.
     4.  Once the diskettes are created, continue with the installation
   	instructions in step VI.  You will be able to start the install
	from disk 1.	


VI.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  
     Windows 3.1x:
     1.  From the "File" menu, choose "Run".
     2.  Type the path where you extracted the driver files 
	(ex. c:\Lxk1100) followed by "setup.exe".
     3.  Press <ENTER>.
     
     Windows 95/98:
     1.  From the START menu, choose "Settings" and then "Printers".
     2.  Double Click on "Add Printer" in the Printers folder.
     3.  When you are prompted to select the printer
     driver, click on "Have Disk" and enter the
     location where the driver files were extracted (ex. C:\Lxk1100).
     4.  Select your printer, and continue with the installation.
       

       Click on the Readme icon in the Lexmark 1100 Series
	group for more information on your printer.
