Use Stretched Desktop to create a single large desktop stretched across multiple monitors. Up to four display devices are supported on the quad card. Stretched Desktop is only available to dual and quad FireMV™ graphics cards using three or more displays. Other installed ATI graphics cards or FireMV™ configurations, supporting a maximum of two displays, can be used in the native extended desktop mode.
Enable Stretched Desktop
Note: Your primary display will always be fixed on the left hand side or the upper left hand side of your basic pattern of display devices.
Note: Displays that do not support the Stretched Desktop feature will not be shown in the list box on the Stretched Desktop page. You will see them, however, on the Displays Manager page.
Note: To identify the displays that support Stretched Desktop click Identify on the Stretched Desktop page.
Arranging Stretched Desktop
The display icons can be dragged to match the physical arrangement of your display devices.
Note: Use the Identify button in the Stretched Desktop page to determine the display icon that corresponds with your display device.
Note: To enable or disable a Desktop in regular desktop mode, use the Displays Manager page.

Note: Extended desktop can be enabled for any device NOT being used in Stretched Desktop.
Disable Stretched Desktop
Note: The Catalyst™ Control Center will restore only the primary display in single display mode. You can create a Profile to restore your previous display configuration.
