HDMI-to-DVI Connection and Audio

If your DTV is equipped with High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), it is possible to connect the DTV to your computer using the graphics card's DVI-I connector. However, the DVI-I output of the graphics card supplies video only to the DTV. You will need to make a separate connection from the audio output of your computer to the audio input of your DTV.

Make the audio connection

  1. Connect one end of the audio cable (#3) to the Audio-Out (#2) of the computer.
  2. Connect the other end of the audio cable (#3) to the Audio-In (#4) on the DTV.
