Monitor Adjustments
Use Monitor Adjustments to resize and reposition the computer desktop on your monitor's display screen. You can also adjust the horizontal and vertical sync or enable composite sync.
What do you want to do?
Adjust screen position or size
- Expand Monitor Properties in Advanced View.
- Click Adjustments.
- Click the center of the box and hold the mouse button and drag to the desired position or size.
- Optionally, use the arrows surrounding the box to adjust position and size.
Adjust Horizontal and Vertical Synchronization
- Expand Monitor Properties in Advanced View.
- Click Adjustments.
- Under Synchronization, click the Horizontal or Vertical plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to the desired settings.
Enable Composite Sync
- Expand Monitor Properties in Advanced View.
- Click Adjustments.
- Under Synchronization, click Composite sync.
Note: The feature should only be enabled if you are using a composite sync monitor.
Apply your settings
- Click Apply to save your changes and leave the Catalyst™ Control Center open.
- Click OK to save your changes and exit the Catalyst™ Control Center.
Restore default settings
- Move the mouse to the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
- Click Defaults.
Note: Clicking Defaults will restore the defaults for the current view only. Previous settings are not altered and will be saved once you click OK.
Discard your settings
- Click Discard to ignore any unsaved changes and restore the settings that existed when the Catalyst™ Control Center was opened or the last time Apply was used. Discard does not close the Catalyst™ Control Center.
Clicking Discard applies to all features of an aspect, not just the feature in the current view.
