Notebook Panel Properties
Use the Notebook Panel Properties to configure your display settings.
What do you want to do?
Configure display panel settings
- Click Notebook Panel Properties in the Advanced View.
- Click to select the desired Panel Settings.
- Scale image - maintain aspect ratio turns on Ratiometric Expansion and scales the frame buffer up to the panel size while maintaining the wide-panel aspect ratio.
Note: Scale Image - maintain aspect ratio is only available when using wide-aspect display panels.
Use centered timings turns off Ratiometric Expansion. If you are using a smaller frame buffer image (800 x 600 resolution) than the native panel resolution, the image is shown centered on the panel with black bars around it.
Apply your settings
- Click Apply to save your changes and leave the Catalyst™ Control Center open.
- Click OK to save your changes and exit the Catalyst™ Control Center.
Restore default settings
- Move the mouse to the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
- Click Defaults.
Note: Clicking Defaults will restore the defaults for the current view only. Previous settings are not altered and will be saved once you click OK.
Discard your settings
- Click Discard to ignore any unsaved changes and restore the settings that existed when the Catalyst™ Control Center was opened or the last time Apply was used. Discard does not close the Catalyst™ Control Center.
Clicking Discard applies to all features of an aspect, not just the feature in the current view.
