Education: 1972-1977 Warsaw Art College, 1977-1978 Academy of Fine Art in Cracow, 1978-1982 Academy of Fine Art in Warsaw. Studios of Prof. Stefan Gierowski and Prof. Ryszard Winiarski, both well-known abstract and Op-Art painters. Graduated in 1982. 1983-1984 Academie van Beeldende Kunsten, Rotterdam.

        
Membership: 1982 Polish Artists Union (ZPAP), 1992 Polish Association of University Women (IFUW), 1993 Pools-Nederlandse Vriendshap.
Hobbies: Reading, Traveling, Antiques, Collecting Antique and Dutch Tiles

The Writing Profession: Milena is increasingly interested in theory and art history. Since 1983 she published articles on modern art, antiques and 17-th century Dutch Culture. She writes on the social position of women in Europe and took part in ENWS Conferences (European Network of Scientific and Technical Co-operation of Women' Studies). She is the author of: 'Warsaw and Her People', Parol, 1993; 'Londyn prawie za darmo' (London guide for art lovers and collectors), Interlibro, 1994; 'Londyn, w ktorym straszy' (London guide for ghost-hunters), Alfa,1995. Since 1989 she is been working on her book about less well known aspects of 17-th and 18-th century Dutch Culture.
