INTERNET CAFE

The Internet was a part of LAB 6. Websites are rapidly getting integrated into the art world. Most of the artists in LAB 6 have their own Web-site. Art collectors started to add Web-sites to their collection. Ryszard W. Kluszczy±ski and Marta Dubrzy±ska-van der Haagen, made a selection of Web-sites. Visitors of LAB 6 were able to explore these sites and experience them in the most optimal way their designers would wish for. The Web-sites were downloaded in to the CCA computers thus the waiting time was reduced to almost nothing. When we asked artists for permission to download their Web-sites to our hard-disk most of them reacted with suprise. It is not usual to show Web-pages in a gallery situation; downloading sites to hard-disk was something new for most of the artists engaged. The artists realised that watching their Web-sites could be a real-time pleasure. All of them gladly agreed. The exhibition is over. The links are still valid but now they refer to the on-line pages all over the Web. TEXT INDEX
