Setting the default SecurityCenter

You can select McAfee SecurityCenter to handle updating of all your security services, even if Windows Security Center is detected as running on your computer. However, letting both SecurityCenters run on your computer might result in duplicate status messaging.

To select McAfee SecurityCenter as your default SecurityCenter:

1. If Windows Security Center is detected, you are prompted to select a SecurityCenter. Click Yes to select McAfee SecurityCenter (recommended).
2. If you click No, McAfee SecurityCenter and Windows Security Center will be enabled, which might result in duplicate security status messaging.

   A confirmation dialog box appears.

3. Click No to select McAfee SecurityCenter (recommended), or click Yes to enable both McAfee SecurityCenter and Windows Security Center.
