All of the games on this disc are demo versions only. Most games require a fast Pentium PC running Windows 98/XP with at least 32Mb of free RAM and 40Mb free hard disk space. Some also require a 3D graphics card, or DirectX 8.1. If unsure, check the games publishers' web sites for requirements.

Freelancer In this new game from Microsoft you are Edison Trent, freelance space pilot (or bounty hunter, pirate, cop, trader, diplomat…). You can play missions randomly or follow the storyline. And the game adapts and evolves based on the morals you display and decisions you make as you pilot your craft across a perilous galaxy, exploring space stations and planets. The multiplayer option lets you play cooperatively or competitively on player-hosted server worlds.

Splinter Cell The United States NSA (National Security Agency) has ushered forth a new dawn of intelligence-gathering techniques, and Sam Fisher is its key operative. This game first appeared on Microsoft's Xbox where it was highly praised for its gameplay and great looks. Stealth is the name of the game, and you've plenty of moves, gadgets, and weapons at your disposal, including a sticky camera with pan and tilt, camera jammer, and laser microphone.

Airborne Assault This operational level wargame puts you in charge of hundreds of units involving thousands of men, slogging it out in a World War II battle scenario. The game's command and control system lets you give orders to HQs that in turn develop their own plans for their subordinate units. For the micro manager there is still the option to issue orders to every unit. In this demo there's no multiplayer support and you can only play the first 24 hours of each scenario.

TOCA Race Driver This racing sim features 42 licensed touring and race cars including Mercedes CLK, Alfa Romeo GTV and Viper GTS on 38 circuits including Bathurst, Hockenheim and Silverstone. There are 13 global Championships including official series: DTM from Germany, V8 Supercars from Australia and the Britsh Touring Car Championship. To top things off the soundtrack features driving tracks by Ash, Iggy Pop, Thin Lizzy, Al Green, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and others.

Championship Manager version 4 Choose your club, take the reins, and lead your squad to victory. But things are never that simple in this realistic management sim. You'll need to cope with the challenges of the league and the expectations of the board and fans. You'll have to deal with the demands of players and agents. Several features are disabled in this demo, including sound effects, friendlies, network play, and viewing other teams' tactics.

Tropico 2: Pirate Cove Rule over a hidden pirate island in Tropico 2: Pirate Cove (sequel to the Fun in the Sun Caribbean simulation, Tropico). As King of the Pirates, you're the top scurvy dog on a secret base where pirates come to carouse and to refit their ships. Fuel your economy by plundering wealthy merchant ships and taking prisoners back to the island as captive workers. Keep your buccaneers satisfied with rowdy gambling, jolly feasting, and barrels of rum.
