With the Phonetic Finder you can save time brainstorming for words containing specific sound combinations. First, choose symbols from the phonetic chart containing vowels, stops, fricatives, affricates, liquids, and glides. Use the "wild card" symbols to match zero or more sounds, any single sound, consonant, or vowel sounds. Once you have assembled your phonetic pattern, click the Search button to retrieve a list of words with that pattern. The Phonetic Finder quickly assembles data for minimal pairs, pronunciation exercises, phonics research, and other types of phonetic study.

This software is absolutely ideal to use in conjunction with the hi-res graphics also on the disc - perfect for making your own unique personalised cards.
