Just unpack the female skins into the \QUAKE2\BASEQ2\PLAYERS\FEMALE
and the male skins into \QUAKE2\BASEQ2\PLAYERS\MALE Directory.
Now you can choose the skin from the Multiplayer/Player Menu.
