BlitzBombers Gets Released!

(probably)

Arguably, the Amiga's best multiplayer game never to be released is abuot to see the light of day.... The game was due to be released way back in February 1996. However, legal threats made by another software developer forced Red When Excited to shelve the project indefinately.
We are pleased to announce that, subject to good feedback from the Amiga community, BlitzBombers will finally be released.

Whats It All About?

BlitzBombers is a game for AGA Amigas. It is similar in some ways to the classic Dynablaster and the popular Bomberman series. Here's a few of its features :
  • 8 different level-scenarios
  • 5 sub-games (Go-karts, Pac-Attak....)
  • Over 80 different levels
  • Upto 8 players via Serial-Link
  • SuperBomberScope(TM)
  • Entertaining 1-player game
  • SpeedTrial, BazookoidBomber, LaserBomber...
  • 32 collectable PowerUps
  • CPU Intelligent Players
  • Hall Of Flame
  • Battle Mode & Grudge Match

  • The game had quite extensive coverage in the Amiga press :

The One, June 1995 - coverpage, coverdisk, competition and interview.
    Amiga Power - 2 previews.
    Amiga Format - coverdisk.

Well, by now, you're probably salivating at the prospect of multiplayer mayhem, and you'd be willing to sacrifice your Granny in order to get your hands on a copy...so how can you?

Well, BlitzBombers WILL be released in the near future IF we get good feedback from Amigans out there...
